About All Will Rise
All Will Rise is a narrative card game about creating connections and bringing people together to fight the powerful… and the systems that make them powerful.
Corporations and political elites are driving the world into the ground. But ordinary people give them power, and ordinary people can take it away.
You are Kuyili, a lawyer in the city of Muziris, set in a weird version of Kerala state in southern India. Kuyili is like a bomb of creativity, energy and dark humor dropped in a dire situation: the city’s river is dead, and on fire.
Kuyili and her team of volunteers want to do the impossible: take the powerful of the earth to court to pay for destroying the planet. Their money, time and energy are limited. Sometimes they can’t stand each other. But they – and you – are resourceful.
Send your team on missions to get cards: evidence, emotional tactics, dirt on the powerful. Make sure your team mates are inspired – or risk burning them out. And make sure to select the right person for the job.
Use your cards to build a powerful deck. Charm or destroy your enemies and potential allies in card-based conversational battles. Find out unexpected things about them, and change their hearts and minds – or scare the shit out of them. Get wild, get weird, and win your case.
